I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. It was great. The fight scenes, were fantastic. I was on the edge of my seat sometimes. I wanted to just hug old spidey sometimes. I don't like Kirsten Dunst. Sorry if you do but I didn't like her in the first one either. I just wish they had cast somebody else. But even that didn't spoil it. I thought it had a great story. My friend who is a total fanboy said it was great to and that there were scenes right out of the comics. There was clapping from the audience and laughter also. It was great.

Now about the screen. The film filled the screen from top to bottom and side to side and there were no bars anywhere. The curtains were pulled all the way back. does that mean that 235.1 number? Anyway it looked great to me.

I didnot got to sleep. I couldn't have gone to sleep whereas I went right to sleep when I say Van Helsing hoosyhower what ever that was. Even though Hugh is a cutey.

pleased you enjoyed it.Yes if the screen was filled it looks like it is 235.1 WOO-HOO :) oh and a big thankyou:up:

y'know, I was thinking about this. . it could work. We work out a routine, take it on the road, get critical acclaim, NBC approached us to turn our comedy act into a must-see TV show called "TJ & The J-Stud," about two comic nerd artists living in the "big city" trying to pick up on women, thus cashing in on the comic craze. The shows theme would be written by the white stripes, and which point Marv would get to be in the video with Meg. She'd explain she remembered meeting him at the Detroit Rock festival, the guy in the batman/taco bell shirt. Tells him there were no two better things to be combined on one shirt. They hit it off, wind up happily ever after. The show goes on for 6 years, the American Public love the self depricating, dry wit humor. The last episode is a heartfelt, somber moment in which the boys are trampled to death in line for the Superman movie. Then we do a special Dateline episode right after it where we get all tearful and gushy and talk about how we're best friends, and share silly anecdotes about behind the scenes antics with blow up dolls and fish heads. Marv and Meg go off to have their happy family, and soon my comic movie career is blossoming! I turn it into a directing career after several movies, because for some reason I think if I can be a goofball in front of the camera, i MUST have some directing talent. Years later we do a reunion show, but I don't show up because I finally want the truth to come out that TJ was an insomniac pizza addict who was always having wild orgies in his trailer before the show. It made work difficult for eveyrone around him, and the show really ended because he was making moves on the producer, and she decided she's had enough.

hmm. . .not too bad. we'll be filthy rich.

The trampled to death before seeing Supes is so sad and way too much for a comedy. I am thinking something with kidney stones would work.

It made work difficult for eveyrone around him, and the show really ended because he was making moves on the producer, and she decided she's had enough.

hmm. . .not too bad. we'll be filthy rich.

shouldnty one of us be a coke addict behind the scenes???

that's what you're supposed to say when I make my outlandish accusations about you ruining the show. You say the real story is that I was a coke addict who couldn't keep his **** out of the producer, and when she wanted to break up I became Irate and trashed my trailer. That's why the show ended.

And about those blow up dolls, now don't go getting to close to the truth:D

Okay, instead of trampled at superman, TJ has a baby, twins. But since the decision to cancel was so sudden, he gets pregnant in the 4th to last episode. It's a one month term, and he has the twins, but has to give them up for adoption. . .one to Jon Peters and one to Alan Horn.

Glockenspiel makes me think of the Flintstones....there was that episode where Wilma gets on the "Happy Homemaker Show" the company that sponsered the show was named "Rockenspeel" so that is what I think of....not to mention that now that song is stuck in my head. 1) worth it? of course. What's more noble than fighting to save a superhero?

2) get what we want? dunno, no tellin til it's out. It took 6 batman movies(if you count the adam west one) to REALLY get what we want.

I just got back from seeing Spider-Man....here are my thoughts.
First off I loved that movie. I like Spider-Man alot and that was a good movie....I have heard some complain about the sappiness of the love story, but I am a sentimental idiot and I like sappy. Now for the important stuff:
*First off remind me never to go see a 7:00 show anymore. With the exception of me and my boy Mesley the audience was made on an interesting mixture of 5 year olds and 8th graders. Now the 5 year olds ask question out loud like "How did he get on the roof?" and have to go to the bathroom every 10 minutes. Also the one sitting beside me kept putting her feet in my lap. Why? I have no idea. Secondly you have the eight graders. You have to admire the hormone crazy brain of a 13 year old boy....he is convinced that if his date thinks he's funny he'll get to second base. (I should have a talk with him....I don't care what any of you ladies on the board say it doesn't work) Anyway so our horny kid's attempt at comedy is to talk at the screen. And what he is saying is not witty, but he is distracted by thoughts of sugar plumbs and boobies dancing through his head.
*Secondly, does MJ own a bra in the comics? Because she most certainly does not in the movies. I mean every scene the one constant was MJ would have no bra. Which I think added to our horny 8th graders need to talk to the screen....but that is just combining theories.
*Thirdly, I really liked the FX...I thought they were great. The story was really entertaining to me.
*I love JK Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson, absolutely steals every scene that he is in.
Over all it was a fun night. I paid $4 for an Icee, saw a cool movie, ran into a friend in the parking lot (although she didn't seem to want to talk to me) but anyway I had a blast.

George: So I started to walk into the water. I won't lie to you boys, I was terrified! But I pressed on and as I made my way passed the breakers a strange calm came over me. I don't know if it was divine intervention or the kinship of all living things but I tell you Jerry at that moment I was a marine biologist!

(Elaine enters and sits down)

Elaine: George I was just reading this thing in the papers, it's amazing!

George: I know I was just telling them the story.

Kramer: Come on George, finish the story.

George: The sea was angry that day my friends, like an old man trying to send back soup at a deli!

(Jerry gives Kramer a "what the h-" glance)

George: I got about fifty-feet out and then suddenly the great beast appeared before me. I tell ya he was ten stories high if he was a foot. As if sensing my presence he gave out a big bellow. I said, "Easy big fella!" And then as I watched him struggling I realized something was obstructing his breathing. From where I was standing I could see directly into the eye of the great fish!

Jerry: Mammal.

George: Whatever.

Kramer: Well, what did you do next?

George: Then from out of nowhere a huge title wave lifted, tossed like a quark and I found myself on top of him face to face with the blow-hole. I could barely see from all of the waves crashing down on top of me but I knew something was there so I reached my hand and pulled out the obstruction!

(George pulls out of the inside pocket a golf ball)

(Jerry and George just stare at Kramer)

Kramer: What is that a Titleist? A hole in one eh.

hmmm....well if you talk to him, he says nay to the situation. and she comes to stay the night, in more than afriendly sort of way, you're gonna have to be like, "dude, we cant do this. your brother is my best friend, and i respect him. and i certainly dont want to tarnish my relationship with him. because he doesnt approve of this, and if he doesnt approve of it, it's impossible it could work out in the end. and i dont want to take part in anything that could tarnish YOUR relationship with your brother either. thats how it is, and its just not wise to do this, because it wont work in the end, and too many relationships will be ruined because of it."

see, you guys have generic biscuits(cookies). We have brands. Oreo is a brand of biscuit(cookie). It consists of two asphault flavored biscuits(cookies) with some kind of creamy center between them. A little asphault/cream snadwich that is supposedly good for dunking in milk.

and frantik, that's honey, not syrup.

and Johnson, I totally agree with you man. . . we're an obese country cause people can't practice any restraint(this coming from the guy who ate a whole pizza for lunch).

a tap is something you do to someone's shoulder when you want their attention, or slang for screwing someone. .as in seeing a hot girl and saying "I'd tap that!"

a bonnet is something people put on babies heads to try to convince people their child is the cutest child EVER.

a boot is something I used to wear on my feet to rock concerts, and it's also slang for meaning kicked out, "We gave the english the Boot!"

a biscuit is for breakfast, and is best served with chicken fried steak, eggs, sausage, and LOTS of white gravy. :)
