Arrghh!!!! I just came from the accountant's office and he is estimating that I will have to pay $40,000 in taxes this year!!! Forty FREAKING THOUSAND Dollars!!!! Where the hell am I going to get that? I am not rich. I am not a rich person. Why the hell should I, one tiny little person, have to pay that much in incomce tax?? That's more than a lot of people make in a whole year. Arrghh!!!!

(I really, really, really, need a little smiley pulling it's hair out. Anyone know where I can find one?)

What am I going to do? I've only paid about $8,000 so far. That means I have to come up with over $30,000 in six months. Ugh!! Boo hoo, BOO HOO!!!! (don't you feel sorry for me?) Geez, you have one good year . . . . .

I may have comments and suggestions posted by a certain someone who thought the first ending was not smutty enough. I at the time was afraid to write that scene that way but after being coached by a certain person rewrote the scene which she then stated read much better. Hmmm, probably more inline with her personal preferences.

Gosh Starbaby, I am really dissapointed. I was hoping that it would still be a good film although I did think that the premise stunk. But then when ever you veer away from the original premise that usually spells doom for the project.

I wonder why Halle would do it. Do you think there was anyway that the film read better than it translated to paper? But you have said even from a technical standpoint the movie was bad.

Again, why would the studio intrust that much money it dubious director and dubious script? Do you think they thought that Halle could carry the story and script with all her fliping and stripper cat woman outfit?

Well If I see it it will be on HBO or one of the other movie channels. And if it does this poorly in the box office that may be next week.

there is no way from reading the script anyone could have thought it would have been good. and the acting skills of meryl streep herself couldnt save this film from its story or director. NOTHING could have made this script good on film....NOTHING!!! but halle and pitof seem to think this film is genius. and one of the reasons i think halle took the role: i think she's still pissed at how little singer used her in the x-films....i mean, shes an oscar winner, the first female best actress oscar winner, she should be the lead carrying the film, right :rolleyes:....but she's been on record saying that more or less. in her egotistical head, i think she thought making this film would prove to singer that she can carry a comic book film....it her little slap in the face to singer for not utilizing her "acting skills" (which were completely embarassing in this film). if this was one of her first films she ever made....her career would be over after this.

Hey Casey I am glad you are alright. The whether has been nasty here in the midwest too. Last week I was in the light end of a tornado. I was driving home with sideways torential rain and some hail and lots of debrie. Right before I reached my street a tree was split. I kept thinking if I see a cow fly by I am in trouble.

I am tired of living here. No real summer just 1 or 2 warm days and then you need a jacket. I hate it.:(

Good Flick. Matt Damon is a cutie. He has the Supes thing going on. Tortured hero and all that. Beginning surprised me. But I tell you keeping up with the camera work (see you guys are having an influence on me) lots of rapid camera movement. If you sat to close to the screen I would imagine you might get a headache. I mean they were flinging that camera around right with the actors and those scenes involved a whole lot of movement. Made me dizzy sometimes trying to keep up all the action.

And it is really a dark kind of movie. Matt is a plays a remorse filled bad become good guy and I was really drawn to his character. And he could kick ass against all odds too. Hell he just needed an S on his chest and it would have been all she wrote. :)And He is a cutie. Oh I said that. Well he is a cutie.
