Well, I'm back from chasing kilts. :rolleyes: Well not fully back... read through the threads in the forum and didn't really have a need to voice my opinions. This place has become rather dull. Everyone going round and round with the same arguements, changing their tune and opinions as fast as you can say Caviezel. Not a lot of open mindedness around. Anyway, I'll probably be posting a lot less or maybe just post in here.

They try and put you off having a life when you do something like this. But its really down to what type of person you are. If you can make time to do all the things you don't want to give up then its possible. Its early days yet so I can't really say. But I can't see myself sacrifincing my life for my studies just yet. :) Especially when Glasgow is so much fun.

it is a strange coincidence that yesterday he passed and yesterday i watched his first film role yesterday on tv in "Grey Lady Down".

What an inspiration he has been, and he has accomplished so much and affected so many lives. Not just through his films, but through his spirit, perserverance and optimism. I totally can't take in Reeve's death. I didn't find out until about lunch. Outside uni, there was a guy selling the Evening Times with the heading 'Superman Dead!'. I thought I was going to collapse. I bought the paper and read it about 5 times just to make sure. It still hasen't sunk in.

The way I understand it, he got a pressure wound which led to an infection, which caused cardiac arrest. But I really admire him for pushing past the difficulties of living after the accident and forging ahead in a fight to help not only himself but others. He was a phenomenal person.
