You know, you might have something with that Pixar thing. It's just the kind of story they love. A tale about hardship and triumph . . and what is cuter than a bunch of baby penguins? (with tiny suction cups strapped to their little feet) This could be gold. What's that guys name . . John Larimer or something like that. Get him on the phone. This is great!! It's Finding Nemo crossed with Polar Express. We'll make millions!!! Bwhahahah.
Bah! I gotta quit goofing off and get back to work. Sigh. So many great ideas, so little time. :(

Marv, go through her purse while shes right in front of you, and steal something, when she asks what you're doing and for the stolen thing back, just say "I don't know what you're talking about"...Im pretty sure that this will get rid of her, and Im not telling you this from experience....:(

Marv, Marv, Marv, Marv, Marv, . . . {I'm shaking my head at you} what are we going to do with you? Don't you know she played you perfectly . . . she's obviously a master at this and you fell right into her wiley womanly trap! Poor, sweet little Marv. Sigh.
Okay, this is what you do . . you get a couple of your really good buddies to agree to go to the exact same showing and sit a few rows behind you. In a pinch it could be just guys but it would be better if there were a couple of girls there as well. At some point, you conveniently "bump" into them (wink, wink) and they say . . "hey, we were all just thinking about going to __________ (insert predetermined location/club of your choice) why don't you guys come with us?" Before she has a chance to protest, you say, "Sure, that would be great!" And you have sequed from a date environment to a group of friends thing. Voila! Problem solved. :D
God, I am good at this. I really should run for president.
About the peeing thing . . it's okay once in a while, as long as you don't do it every time. Standing up to pee is one of the very few advantages you guys have over us.
believe me, i have already considered that option...but i think it'd be WAY too obvious...and then i'd be a jerk for doing it!!

Yeah a coniving jerk at that. Just be honest about it. Then you won't have to agonize over anything you do. She has no power over you yet unless you give it to her. I mean really you weren't that interested to begin with so what do you have to loose..... Oh you were hoping for a little sumthin sumthin huh? Well in that case, she does have power over you.
Hell go to the movie. As far as the coniving part, well is that something you would normally do? If not then just be yourself.

Well I am just about finish with my first college teaching assignment. It has been interesting to say the least. Grading their final projects is a challenge as I really want everyone to do well but, dammit if some of them didn't follow directions and I have to take off massive amounts of points. I won't fail them on the project but they will get the lowest C and that my really impact their final grade. Being a college instructor is a lot harder than it looked:( But honestly I loved it.
Next semester I get to lecture.:D
Since there are a lot of college students could anyone tell me why, after going over the instructions over and over and with them written explicitly in the sylabus, would anyone not follow the directions as well as use the directions as a check list for a completed project?

First up... thats a bloody genius name.
Inventor Guy - "Gee i have this swell new product but i don't know what to call it."
Marketing Guru - "Well what is it?"
Inventor Guy - "Its an oven glove."
Marketing Guru - "Hmmm... hmmm... i've got it... Ove Glove."
Inventor Guy - "Uh... but all you did was drop the 'N'... thats kinda crap."
Marketing Guru - "Tust me man."
I'm thinking of inventing a new type of lawnmower and calling it... "Lawnmow."
Secondly... the damn thing is made of Nomex and Kevlar... same stuff as Batman's costume. I kinda get a kick outta knowing that Batman is walking around wearing a giant Ove Glove.

You know,I never measured my biceps. I was using the strappless evening gown or spegetti strapped gown approach. Do my arms look good in that? Actually, I my arms are more cut then when I took that pic.
I am still lossing a few more pounds but very carefully. I still have a high precentage of body fat, which means I have lost muscle. I am at 30% now and my goal is 20% body fat. It is challenging to get enough protein, and trade fat for muscle. I try to eat more of only clean foods but I don't have time. And I also know that I should have 5 small meals aday but again, I don't have time for that. So the problem is I really don't eat enough, and although I am keeping up my lifting and cardio, I still am burning a little muscle with the fat.
But pat me on the back, 25 lb dumbell flys and overhead presses. and 55lbs squats. Bent over rows 28 lbs. and 55lbs, double are bent over rows. Oh my back is something to see. I will have to try to get a pic of that. I am lifting pretty heavy for me. But I am sure it is sissy compared to what you can do.

An honest question though ...
Do college interns actually get sent to Iraq? I mean, seriously ... it's not exactly like being a G.I. right now and wondering if the hillbilly armor on your humvee is going to hold up when you get ambushed.
On the flip side, even if you are sent for some strange reason, you'll have Ashlee Simpson and her naked breasts to keep you company.

As an intern with the CIA, NSA, or FBI, you would conceivably have to wear a suit and tie, correct? Which means that it's conceivable you might be thrown into a situation which would call for you to rip open your shirt (in order to use your shirt to stop the bleeding of a fellow intern who'd given himself a paper cut or something of that nature). And if that happened, you would certainly have pictures taken so you could post them here, right?

My biggest problem is with lower body workouts, as I have to protect my knees. I have damaged 1 of them from squating to low. The pain is gone but still some swelling that you only see if you look closely. I have resumed lower body workouts but I can feel the difference and I have to be very careful. Since I have seen no comment from anybody here, you guys need to go check out the hype comic strip by our very own Tomwelling4sups. It is funny and creative. He has done a really nice job with this. He is using charactors created from the various personalities on the hype. If you ask him, he might put you in the story. If you look closely, you will see a definitely familiar face. Mine. My charactor is devastating:D go and see. You will laugh, cry, dance, and leap for joy....well maybe not all that, you will like it. Go and see, click the link in my sig or Tommy's. See you there:D

I think I scared away Watchman in the process. :(
Maybe the guys here are starting to change their ways. Grey gets propositioned by a 37 year old woman, and he passes up the opportunity ... I offer Watchman cheesy nipples (which is something I would never do -- not even for Marv) and he can't find a Superman shirt. Perhaps Superman (the mod) has finally achieved what he wanted for this thread -- sexual innuendo is dying amidst a wave of responsibility and a lack of Superman T-shirts.
It's just a sad thing. Very sad, indeed.
Even more irritating is that through all of my flirting, my "husband" did not tell anyone to get off his Kool-Aid. Not once.
Depressing.
Maybe I should get a divorce.

My buddy works as a manager at Blockbuster so he gets everything 2 weeks in advance...then he givbes the dvd's to me....and i take them home and burn them. I've had Shaun of the Dead, Napolean Dynomite, and King Arthur for a couple of weeks, and will have Anchorman on Wednesday.

But that's what he likes ... ;)
Seriously though, I feel almost embarrassed to admit this, but I haven't seen one movie at the theater since last summer (after sitting through "Spider-Man 2" and hating it). I've wanted to see everything from "Shaun of the Dead" to "The Incredibles" ... but I've grown so turned off by the ratio of bad films to good films that I rarely get out to see anything. :(
It's terrible.
Does anyone else feel like this? Or am I the only one?

Gargle with Hydrogen peroxide and water. make a 1:1 serving and gargle it. do this 2-3 times a day. your cold will go away. If you do it everyday, you will not get sick. I am telling you this works. If you feeli a cold coming on or a slight soar throat, garlgle this. It will nip it in the bud.

Well we are on our way to completing 2004. I was an amazing year for me. Really rough in the begining as I was completing the final project of my masters degree. The in the middle, May, I had lot of great moments, completing the project, the graduation ceremoney, adding the letters MSN to my Id tag, getting offered a full time instructor position at the university ( that was a mix blessing) and going to New York for a wedding. After that 2004 took a turn to the darkside. The last half of the year was extremely challenging, But I met you guys, and saw BTN take off, and experienced the loss of the only Superman some of us have known. There has been drama, laughter, sadness and even tears at time. I should write my story and call it "As Frantik's world turns" Of course, it would require at least an R rating and could only be shown on HBO.:D
Well I am strong, got muskles and I am power packed and ready for action. To the year 2005 I say "Bring it" I can't wait to see what's in store.

Wetness defines the state of something after it's been touched by a liquid, It becomes "wet".

I think we have a paradox here. Becuase if water isn't wet then it is dry. But it can't be dry or it wouldn't be able to wet things. But if it isn't wet then it has to be dry, because you can be either wet or dry. You have to be one. If you are not wet then you are dry and vice versa. But you say water can't be wet. But then it must be dry which means it couldn't wet anything so there for it must be wet. But you said it can't be. This does not compute. I feel like one of Harry Mudds androids from the old Star Trek series. My light is flashing and I may shut down. This does not compute. It is a paradox. Which is also another or my names so I recognize a paradox when I see one and this is one. :hyper::hyper::hyper:

if wetness describes the state of something after it is affected by a liquid, how bout this: if I drop oil into water, the water is wet with oil, right? They won't mix, yet the liquid oil has touched several surfaces of the water, thus fulfilling your definition of wet.
so water may not always be wet, but it CAN BE wet.

Acutally I think that the water would be oily and the oil is now wet. Having said that I still think that water is wet or else it would be dry. Now that you have added the oil, you now have oily wet water or oily dry water and as water is a wetting thing it cannot be dry or it couldn't wet. See, the light is flashing, Shutting down now :hyper:

You cannot make something that which it is already.
Wet as a noun means liquid or moisture.
Water or another liquid, or moisture from it.
Water is indeed wet. As is oil.
Wet as an adjective means covered, soaked,
or dampened with water or some other liquid.
Water or oil can wet another substance,
but not another liquid as that is already wet.
The Singularity

What will then happen when we try to dissolve lipid molecules in water? They will eventually form aggregated structures known as micelles in which the amphiphiles group in such a way that the oily chains are no longer exposed to water thereby minimising the reduction in entropy. This is achieved via the formation of micelles where the hydrophilic headgroups have formed a protective layer on the outside and the hydrocarbon chains find themselves shielded in the centre.

Anyone else got a hangover?? What were you doing at midnight???
I was with friends at a house party, i say party loosely as there were only 8 of us, 6 being couples:( Usually i go up town - Edinburgh is famous for the celebrations but snogging the face of random girls has lost its allure lately. My only resolution this year is to keep changing and move on. What have you got planned for the next 12 months???
I went to a party with some of my friends at one of them's house since his parents had gone for a party outside too. We were 4 guys and 11 girls... :)
...but no hangover... :(

At midnight I was online with a buddy. It was cool
The next 12 months, I hope to not repeat the mistakes of the last 12 months, get my Phd application in and start school in the fall, recertify as a group fitness instructor. That is just the first 3 on a list of about a 1000 things I would like to do this year.

the super boards are so rabid, they just chased away an actual insider.... everyone's foaming at the mouth for info, it walks right into their laps, and they throw it away. What's become of Superman fans?

I hear ya. I haven't been there for weeks so i thought i'd check in there the last couple of days... wow... the place has become fanatical... you can't even slightly suggest in there that Singer maybe isn't the new messiah without getting your ass handed to you.
Anyways what happened with the insider? Who was it? I guess i missed that.

I know i actually came to the hype cos of Batman but i got hounded out of the Bat forums cos i don't like the tumbler and i'd prefer a less rubbery costume... minor criticisms really but i got treated like a leper.
The Superman forum has gone the same way. There are even RINGLEADERS ferchrissakes.

this guy enigma came in and gave up the costume description. Enigma. If you're looking, there are several WB related scoops at hype from Enigma. The dude's legit. Mirko's backed him up before. No one's 100%, but the guy is certainly very reliable. And he basically got chased away and people were calling his BS. . .which was, ironically, more than likely not.
