It had a good run but the Hype never fulfilled the prophecy of becoming the chosen one of message boards of the Superman fanboys. The casting wars were bloody and the hype was no longer a sacred place. Instead it caved and fell to the dark side of the force. I along with others went into exile until we were given a new hope. A spawn of one of the hype's own members. Now the Planet members must face the fact that they are originally the children of the hype. It will not be easy but they will fight the good fight regardless. There is still some good here, and it will remember that before the end.

We had a really nice honeymoon. We took a cruise to the Bahamas. We left Port Canaveral, Florida on Monday July 2nd. We spent most of the afternoon of July 3rd on a beach island called CoCo Cay. That was very nice. The water was unbelievable. It truly was beautiful. We spent Wednesday July 4th in Nassau. Nassau was definatley an interesting experience. Lots of shops and things like that. We spent July 5th out at sea, and arrived back in port on Friday, July 6th.
This was my first cruise and I had a blast. I honestly think I ate every two hours for an entire week. Don't get me started on the food. It was fantastic. My bride and I had a fantastic time. I definately plan to go back on another one.

There are all these not so subtle blonde highlights in my hair and it's freaking me out. I'm going back to have it fixed. It's really not that bad, it's kind of fun to have a different look, but it's just not what I asked for or expected. I just like my natural hair color. I definitely think so. What worries me the most is the Batman on that film though. It has all the potential to be miscast and badly written considering its an ensemble movie. Comics are a different medium to film, I just don't see good ol' Bats working in a JLA film. Even if it were very close to Nolan's Bats. I just don't see it.

It would take some pretty clever writing to overcome some of the issues, and I don't have much confidence in that. But if it were done properly, I'd love to see Batman in it.

What are your thoughts on the JLA movie? Do you honestly think that this thing will be a good idea? Do you think that it will confuse the viewing public to have two new actors plays Superman and Batman?

Personally, I want to see all the comic films, including JLA, I just don't want to see it, now. I'd rather have at least two Superman and Batman movies behind us, maybe even three. As for confusion .. meh. That's what a lot of people thought if Welling didn't play Superman in the movie, and it seems to have worked out okay. I don't know. To me, it would be cool to have both trilogy's done and then have a JLA with Bale and Routh. I really wouldn't want to see either of them play in a JLA movie now, because that would be before it's time and take away from their own franchises, imo. Besides, they'd be sharing the spotlight with too many other characters and their parts would be fairly small.

Very productive. :yay: I got a lot done. :up: I did stop to watch a couple of movies though. I had gone to Rotten Tomatoes for recommendations :whatever: I really have to stop doing that. They recommend the worst movies. One was called LOL and I had to turn it off after about 5-10 minutes. It was like watching paint dry. :whatever: And the other was a Scottish movie called Red Road. It was better, but kind of depressing. :( Not to mention, I didn't understand half the dialog because of the accents. :woot:
