Hellboy is the son of Satan, I think that rules Spawn out. Ghost Rider can tire and turn back to Johnny or what ever his name is, at which point he would be no match for Hellboy. Rasputin cannot be killed, but Hellboy beat him so he still reigns on top of the copetition.

hmm i dunno, i read both spawn and hellboy and their both pretty strong. spawns powers allow him to do just about anything, its just a matter of figuring out how they work, andnot using them up. spawn also slayed his master (and ruler of hells 8th circle) malebolgia, so hes capable of killing demons stronger then hellboy. but at the same time, hellboys killed demons that are potentaly stonger then a hellspawn. id saw it would be a draw between those 2. not shure about gr though.

Ghostriders got style on his side but as Sandman138 said Ghostrider when tired out would revert to his human alter ego (i think its an alter ego..) and after a fight with either Spawn or Hellboy I'm pretty sure he'd tire out extremely fast.

Spawn also lacks stamina at times but has more powers than either of the others and did defeat malebolgia.

Hellboy has strength, stamina but lacks great agility to dodge either of the others attacks but with ghostrider who cares?

So it all comes down to whether Hellboy could survive most of Spawns attacks, which he very well might but I DONT CARE I PREFER SPAWN :p

As for Juggernaut versus The Hulk, well Hulk apparently is the strongest marvel hero (just a matter of pissing him off) but can be damaged/hurt, but Juggernaut just plainly sucks in a fight and would end up with Juggernaut leaving the fight.

you come to a hellboy thread, in the hellboy forum, and expect someone to agree that Spawn is better? or expect a Hellboy fan to NOT defend Hellboy? now, i realize you were just stating your opinion and who you prefer, but so was Sandman138. you gave your reasons why you prefer Spawn, and Sandman gave his reasons why he prefers Hellboy. then you react with "fine, you're stubborn, you're a hellboy fan, hellboy fans are stubborn." that is extremely rude and not considered good manners on this site.

you are entitled to your opinion, but so is everyone else here. and if you give you opinion, someone will undoubtably give theirs. that's how it works. so either accept that they are entitled to their opinions [just as much as you are entitled to yours], or stay out of the forums.


as for the post count. some people get their high count honestly, by giving good comments to a number threads. some get them by spamming. some people will post a one sentence comment, then a minute later post "i misspelled that word, sorry" then a minute later post "oh, yeh, batman rocks!" and there is three posts for no reason. very annoying having someone spam your thread just to get a high post count. but if you want a high post count, go to the SHH Community Forum, it is always full of people who just want to talk.

All I remember reading is that its known he is the son of a very high ranking, very powerful demon from Hell. Other then that I don't think its ever been said for sure. But I may be having a huge lapse of memory and forgetting something. I know its off-topic, but I just wanted to add that =p.

We've seen the Satan figure of the Hellboy universe once or twice, so we actually know that HB's father is just a demon.

I actually collected Spawn and GR comics when I was younger, and I have lots of respect for Hellboy, but I think a all out 3 way fight, Hellboy and Spawn would probably just quit, not die, not lose, just simply quit and say, 'screw this' this is pointless. Ghost Rider (both of them Gen II & III) would probably keep fighting until the end of time if you let them.

There are 2 Ghost Riders that are well known. Zarathos the Demon, and the Spirit of Vengeance, which is not a Demon nor an Angel, but simple is alive to exact vengeance through whatever means is necessary, even if it means fighting until the end of time. He does wear down after heavy hits but doesnt mean he will go down easy, it takes a lot to take down GR, he's been blown apart, vaporized, crushed, even hit with his own hellfire, but that hasn't stopped him yet.

Hellboy has some great agility and punching power, Spawn has some impressive powers of his own which even today have not really been capped yet. Ghost Rider's powers have also not been overly explained to their limits, because the character itself doesn't even understand them.

All three kick ass, but the fight is pointless and only GR is senseless and mindless to fight until the end.

According to the movie, he's "Just out of his twenties."

The comic version, however, is harder to place.

Spawn does whine a lot but I do like the character. I don't feel that Ghost Rider could hang. It would come down to Spawn and Hellboy. I'm going with Hellboy on this one. He simply takes care of business. :up:

Hellboy was found by Professor B. During World War two and he seemed to be almost a new born... That would make him 60ish depending on what time he was found during the war and exactly how old he was when he was found....

It has been a long time since I have read any of the spawn comics, but if memory severs me right, his power is not endless. It has a limit to what he can use. Hellboy and GR don't have that weakness, that that puts spawn out of the running. Hellboy would rather do the job, and get back to the house. He is not the overly violent type. Do the job, go home ( not talking about his possest side, just the everyday side). Gr would stay untill he was destroyed...That is his only purpose on earth, to deliver vengance. No other wories for him.
Given all that, GR would be the odds on fav in Vegas, and you all know it.

After reading some GR and HB comics, and knowing what i do of Spawn, I think Ghost Rider would definately win this fight, this guy has recently taken down The Hulk and The Devil, were IMO neither Spawn or Hellboy would last very long in a fight with those 2.
