The next film can focus on the New Mutants, and eventually transition into X-Force. None of these characters have really been dealt with at all, with the possible exception of some easter-egg names on screen or glimpsed cameos by extras made up to look a certain way. We'll see whether this "Warpath" is interchangable with the original Thunderbird. [it may have been worth simply reinterpreting Forge as a teen technopath]
