Hell Give me Lex Luthor who has the balls to take on Superman himself with his War Suit with the support of Enginer over Lex creating another Superman mirror to fight him.
Not even asking for something crazy like Brainac straight away.
Seeing it laid out like this really hits home.
We've been repeating the same type of villains for Superman since his first movie beside Superman 3.
Granted none of it has been done badly per day except maybe Superman Returns Superman IV but still Superman has plenty other foes that haven't...
As a Snyder fan myself I'm personally not "p*ssed" at the Ultraman rumor because I think it will be a shot at Cavils Superman.
That seems unlikely considering Gunn is fan of Cavils Superman and is friends with Zack Snyder.
For me and this of course subject to change when we see the execution...
That's a valid opinion but not one I happen to share.
To me Man of steel is my favorite Superman film because it feels like it focuses on Clark Kent the most and makes an emphasis on that being his true self not Kal-El.
Him choosing to accept that his abilities don't make him any less human...
God I love this movie.
Still my favorite Superman film to date.
I appreciate that it decided to be both a character study/origin of Clark becoming Superman and sci fi first contact film.
I know this movie certainly isn't for everyone but it's honestly the Superman film I was the waiting for...
I know it's unpopular but I honestly think Rey is as cool as sh*t too.
Right alongside Luke Obi Wan Anakin as my favorite Jedi character in the franchise.
I really hope this movie is good because while not for everyone I loved the sequel trilogy and think the post ROS era has a lot of potential.
"Traditionally white character" implies that it's important for the character to "traditionaly white" rather than just the norm when that character was created.
When I think of important qualities for Supergirl her being white is the last thing that pops in my head.
I get that's it definitely...
Would have been cool representation to have Supergirl be a person of color but I guess we need every kryptonian to be white in Superman movie's.
Yeah yeah comic accurate casting i get it but Kara's race really doesn't matter to her character.
A bit of missed opportunity in my opinion not to...
This is just me speculating but a part of me thinks the reason this movie is called Superman Legacy might be because the kryptonians might have been more sinister in this take including Jor-el.
The one thing James Gunn protagonist have had in common lately is daddy issues and I don't mean...
Batman 1988 feels like Adam West but more phycological and gothic.
Batman returns feels Adam West but more horny and weird.
I love them but they're definitely a product of there time.
Superman Lives seemed like a train wreck I agree.
All I'm trying to say is in my opinion James Gunn...
Burton Batman has a lot of campy theatrical stuff but the movies don't poke fun at itself like Batman not being to turn his head is treated like Batman purposely doing that to seem like creature.
Or Jack Napier falling into chemicals and somehow making his skin look like a clown 89 uses that...
I find funny that James Gunn has problem with Joker killing Batmans parents and tying the villain to to the heroes origin but than years later he pulls the same trick with Ego killing Peter Quills mom and kidnapping him from earth.
I get one choice effects more well known characters but I...
To me it seems like James Gunn seems to use camp as way of mocking the characters like showing how unhealthy stupid or unhinged they are very
The camp he seems to be not a fan of is the camp that's more sincere and plays it straight.
