Yes, yes, true. How could I forget about the tornado? Of course his hair is going to be a mess.

He does look supermanly handsome in those that picture, and you could probably cut granite on those cheek bones.

Handsome, and masculine at the same time, long time for that in live action superman, at least for me.

I like it. It's what a young Supes would look like, in my opinion. I mean....he's a college kid. Of course he has shaggy hair.

A 20 year old in the nineties. Of course he is gonna have hair like that.

A twenty-year old in general would have that kind of loose "I don't give a damn!" haircut.

Seriously. People are complaining about this?

It's probably between shoots, he's taking a picture with a fan, AND it's most likely windy... his hair probably isn't "done". And even if it IS like that, it's just young Clark. I couldn't really care less. It won't look like that when he's Superman, so it's not a big deal.

Anyway... he looks awesome, big and strong. That neck is definitely looking thicker too.

Uh, Cavill might look built enough, but the man's hairline is receding badly. Mine is too, but I'm not playing Superman.

Not to start an argument, but I still think Routh looks a million times more the part than Cavill. Routh looks, like Reeve did, like he's a real-life version of Superman. Especially since he's grown older and bulked up since SR.

And it's not because he looks like Reeve...it's because he looks like Superman.

Clark Kent hair looks fine to me. I wasn't a big fan of the Superman hair simply bc It looked super poofy. Although I think it will be more like this in the movie, hair wise

They both look like Superman. Not one more than the other.

We'll have to agree to disagree.

Routh has a good look, but Cavill has a great look. Much more intense than Routh ever could with his empty gaze. Routh makes you want to like him, because he seems like such a nice guy... but I want more from Superman.

Re: Henry Cavill IS Superman: - Part 6

Routh to me looks like Boy-Scout Superman. Cavill looks like BAD-ASS Superman.

eh to me cavill looks better because he actually has a square jaw ,has natural blue eyes, he just has a thicker neck and face overall and he looks like a man not a boy that routh did during his run with superman

I hate to be the "Larry David" guy here.....but....

Ehhhh. Routh looks somewhat like Reeve--not necessarily Superman. Our perception of Superman looking like Reeve came AFTER he played the part. WE made Supes in his image because he was so great (it influenced artists as well). So great--in fact--that they tried to find someone who looked just like him--low and behold you have Brandon Routh. Cavill will be Superman, too. The NEW Superman. :yay:
