Yeah same here, he's connected to everything in the story. It's a great story if the worlds greatest hero returning to a world that needs him.

Mark Waid knew what the hell he was writing when he wrote this amazing story. Alex Ross art was beautiful. Both the story and the art is amazing.

Definitely :up: this is one of, if not the greatest return stories of all-time. It's a dream that one day this gets animated or even in live action. Infact if they wanted to animate it but stick to the style, they could do it like the opening of DCU online.

Ross said that was the closest to the style needed to do the project justice, but it's still not quite there yet......maybe someday.
