I never understood how artists would draw muscle definition on the armor.

This is possibly the most exciting comic I have ever read......incredibly tense and dramatic page-turner with a real, "Oh *****!" cliffhanger.

The yellow parts of the armor are flexible metal which folds and forms like cloth.

And his attatche case looks like a normal black briefcase for the most part.

It's from the Extremis arc in the Iron Man title. It ran from issues #1 through #6.

There's a hardcover edition available.

Overall, I enjoyed the storyline. Ellis wrote a great story and did a nice job updating Stark/Iron Man. IMO, he was on his A game. Granov's digital artwork was amazing. Especially his take on the armor.

No. :p

I'm reasonably sure you're joking here but on the chance that you aren't I'll explain.

Parkerized is a type of finish found on some firearms. It has a pebbled texture, is a drab grey/green in color, and looks just terrible. If you had ever seen a parkerized firearm you'd understand the reference.

No.Parkerized metal is not green. The green comes from aging. Parkerized finishes are grey to black.
ALso, if extensive pebbling presents, it was done inproperly.

The ones that I've seen have all been a dull olive green/grey. And the surface was covered with very fine pebbles. It felt quite different to the touch than blue or stainless steel.

What was the reason for parkerizing anyway? Beyond the obvious applications of a non-reflective surface I mean?

It really has nothing to do with the non-reflective property, though that sometimes is a side benefit. It is a protectact against deep metal corrosion. Yes, there is a very slight pebbling with parkerization. but if it visibly evident from around two feet, it was probably done improperly.
Any parkerized metal will react with cosmoline and turn green. It's kinda like how brass will get that "rainbow" patina on it if not cared for.
It's kinda like a penny or the Statue of Liberty. They are both made of copper, and both start out, well, copper colored. Weather, wear, corrosion turn them gree. The green is actually copper "rust".
However, Parkerized materials don't "rust" to green, they just kinda age to it.
