Spider-Bike was officially confirmed.

Why not just give us the Spider-Buggy? SHIELD is giving him gadgets? Why not have him make his own gadgets because he's a genius and he's done that all the time in the comics?

Urg. Just don't like anything I'm seeing, I mean the animation in that spot looks incredible but that's it.

Agreed. I'd rather they just continued with SSM and season 3,but...

I like Iron Fist, looks cool but there's not enough distribution of yellow. I'm curious to see how this team thing will play out.

Anybody want to see an Amazing Friends team up with Iceman and Firestar?

You can watch the first TV spot on Disney XD's website here.

Looks like Venom is the Ultimate version at first, because we saw a classic looking version in the sizzle reel. Klaw is behind Spidey on the floor near the very end.

Saw a bootleg of that a few days ago. It looks horrible. I have almost no hope for this show. It's doing everything WRONG. The only thing I like is the art style.

**** you, Disney.

I'm so glad it told me that, otherwise I never would've known I was watching Disney XD.com.

One thing I'm liking so far is how we're getting to see Spidey interacting with the rest of the Marvel universe, there hasn't really been a Spidey show since SM TAS that was really able to do that.

Lol. They need to remind us before and after any of their automatic loading videos, too. :funny:

Can't see the spot for some reason. Anyone have a second link?

Sometimes twice in a row.

If they do another promo for the show, I don't think it would be a bad idea to do one that highlighted the villains or that was probably a little more suspenseful just to give a taste of how dramatic they'll possibly get.

I'm not sure if I'm going to like this show all that much judging by the trailer. There's something that is a bit to juvenile for my tastes from what I've seen so far. However, like mentioned it's just a trailer and they probably plucked and pulled scenes from the show that would capture the target audience the most. Granted I'll catch a few episodes, becuase normally it takes a while for the show to really establish itself and the direction where it is headed. It took me a couple of episodes to love the Brave and the Bold as the first episode wasn't too good, so I'll give this show the same chance. But hey, at least the character designs are pretty (which was the main complaint of SSM).

I'm sure that I'm not the only one, who thought that it was pretty lame. Again, I don't like "whoever that Nickelodeon kid is" as the voice of Spider-Man. I would rather see the 3rd Season of TSSM, than this 'kiddie superhero team-up' atrocity.

That was lame.

The whole "he was a good man" thing was forced as hell, and when the words "Ultimate Spider-Man" popped up onto the screen my expression was literally: .

I want to like it, but that wasn't very good. Paul Dini wrote that too, likely that was from the first episode.

That is Drake Bell voicing Spidey. And maybe it won't be too kiddie. It is just a trailer. Maybe it'll be like Teen Titans, which had kiddie humor, but didn't use it too much.

No chances for this show, darling. It's a shame that Paul Dini wasn't able to explore the real & exciting Ultimate Spidey stories, that were written by Bendis. Instead, Loeb & others decided that they would rather explore something pathetic with the involvement of S.H.I.E.L.D & a bunch of young superheroes.

Yeah, so much for so-called Marvel DNA (ah, Quesada).

I don't know who Drake Bell is, but that voice on the few clips I've seen is a tad annoying. I really want to like this cartoon, and I will watch it (being the spidey-aholic that I am) But I hope it turns out better.
I still think the animation on it looks too much like the same animation they used on the short lived Spider-Man Unlimited cartoon.
Here's hoping for a great cartoon.

Keep On Thwipin'!!!

I'll probably end up liking this show anyway, just because it's Spider-Man. For example, the MTV show was too adult for my tastes. Well, actually, for a Spider-Man show. There was stuff in there that I wouldn't mind seeing in an episode of Family Guy, but it was out of place for Spider-Man show. While I have yet to see the other ten episodes, I like it anyway, just because it's Spider-Man. It might be the same thing with this show.

You know what's funny is that he starred in a movie that was a parody of the first Spider-Man movie and other superheroes too. He was also in Nickelodeon shows The Amanda Show and Drake and Josh. Never thought he would be doing Spidey, but I don't mind him voicing Spidey.
