As a Celtics fan, these Rondo trade rumors are on my last nerve. This is a Point Guards league and he is one of the five best in the NBA.

We need to trade KG/Ray for something nice in return. We can't trade Pierce,he's a legend.

Cant trade KG either...he is a tough sell, but if there was ever a time to trade him...Now would be it. He is averaging like 20 and 10 right now

In all honesty it's about what we can get back.

Yea that injury and not being able to sign jr smith really hurts us. Caron butler might as well be injured cuz hes been garbage since billups injury. the last two games hes been outplayed by Bobby Simmons?! right now this team is a 2nd round exit at best! We need a Sg/Sf bad via trade or free agency!

I'm hoping we can package eric bledsoe, randy foye(expiring) and future 1st for someone like ray allen, s jax, ben gordon, kevin martin, or oj mayo

Damn, I knew Rip was getting up there in age, but I didn't know he was now made of glass.

Sounds like the Bulls might be in the market for SG too.

Clippers have a surplus on PG (even after Billups' injury), and there's no reason why they should keep Bledsoe. The smart thing to do would be to trade him for other needs like bigger size in the paint, because Clips aren't that great with rebounds.

Re: 2011/2012 NBA Thread : A Season Reborn - Part 2

In my honest opinion the Lakers need a PG more than the Clips need a 2. Derek Fishers corpse wont cut it.

Y r u guys comparing which teams needs the most? I could care less what the lakers need. All i know the clippers need to make a move to come back to contention

It's called a conversation.

Would you consider Griffin,Jordan for Howard? If I was Clippers management(thank God i'm not) I definitely wouldn't.

Black Mamba is so clutch...sending the game to OT.

Rough, ROUGH game from Kobe, but at least he stepped up to send it to ot. I don't know what the hell happens to this team on the road, but they got 5 more minutes to figure it out...

Point I'm making is why would u compare which teams need more when obviously your going to say own teams needs more of a change. But if u guys want compare i still say clippers cuz with the current roster were not winning the division while the lakers will.

I would. You can get a bunch of players in the off season to support those two. Griffin is so overrated. Take away his highlight dunking and you have an average PF who has a subpar jumpshot and can't shoot a FT.

I don't know about that. He's got tremendous upside. He's getting better every year and this is, what? His second season? I wouldn't start with the overrated comments (Which is totally overrated, am I right? :o) until he's reached his prime and hasn't made any improvements at all. Hell, Dwight didn't get a post game until year 4 for christs sake.

Lakers lose and clippers regain the division lead at the moment.

Clippers have been the division leader for quite some time, before their loss to T-Wolves brought them down 1/2 game behind Lakers. I don't see why you suddenly believe that Lakers will win the Pacific Division. Lakers actually have more issues that need addressing than Clippers imo.

Yea exactly! Karl Malone was a terrible free throw shooter first couple yrs and eventually became a very good free throw shooter. Same with Amare! He had no J when he first played and again he worked at it. One thing u never question with Griffin is work ethic! Dude works harder than anybody on the team. He wants to be great. His j and ft will come in time

We have been sliding since the billups injury while the lakers have been surging as of late..a week from now we could fall 3 to 6 in the west in this road trip if we dont make a change

Dude can score just 20 alone with put backs. He's a better defensive player and having him on the same team with an elite PG will just open up more opportunities for CP. I don't see many people going to double up on Blake. Bring Dwight over for Griffin and within a season I bet they'll be 1 or 2 in the West.
