Okay guys, do you want the good news first or the bad news?
Wel, I'll start with the good news.
I got some SWEET goodies today in the form of a set report, pics and video. The bad news is that my computer at home is currently infected with some virus that doesn't allow me to stay on it for more than 3 minutes, making it impossible to load pics and video. I am currently on a computer at the cyber center in my apartment complex but it does not allow to me transfer photo and video onto the computer

. Anyway, I am working on correcting this problem. Hopefully my computer will cooperate long enough for me to upload this stuff so you can see it...keep your fingers crossed anyway.
Anyway, on to my report.
Alright, I am sure you guys already know where they were shooting today: Berghoff's (I think I spelled that right), some kind of old and classy restaurant/bar type. The crew had vehicles all on Adams and the adjoining streets. The first time I walked by early on in the day they were shooting inside. They had some screens up over the exterior and I could hear them yell "rolling". I didn't know who was inside at this point. Outside there was a large bus that had "Corerctions" written on the side of it. It was a GPD bus, presumably for hauling off prisoners of a sort. There were also a few GPD extras milling around. I walked further down toward State St. and saw all kinds of GPD and Gotham cars waiting to be used. I figured some exterior stuff would be happening later. I wasn't wrong.
Around 2:30 or 3:00 I made my way back and sure enough, there was quite a bit of action. There was a whole crowd of extras dressed in suits, they seemed to be reporters or maybe just onlookers. In front of this crowd was a GPD officer holdig a shotgun (very cool). Some of the extras were pretending to shiver..don't forgett the fall setting. It was amusing to watch. A bit further down in front of Berghoff's was were the good stuff was happening. Nolan and co. were shooting a scene where GPD and Lt. Gordon escort Maroni and his goons into the corrections bus, busting them. I stood across the street and watched (taking pics and got video of one whole take). Eric Roberts looked great as Maroni, cuffed and all. After each take they would wipe the sweat off of Oldman, Roberts and the extras, attempting to keep the atmosphere of Fall in place (certainly tough with today's weather).
They did a few takes of this and then began to move everything down the street to the alley for the next scene. I noticed that Eric Roberts was still standing next to the corrections bus with some of the extras, the PA's and crew were no longer guarding this sidewalk and no one was going over to his surprisingly. I walked right up to him and asked if I could get a photo. He responded with an extremely energetic "absolutely!!" One of the extremely tall Gotham Police Officer's kindly agreed to take the photo. Mr. Robert's said "okay, I'll give you two shots." For the first one he put his arm around me and covered my face with his hands (he himself was making a pretty silly face). We all laughed and then he pulled me in closer and we got a regular pic the second time around. After the pics he said "okay, let's make sure those shots are good for you". We both looked through the pics on my camera and I told him they looked great. I thanked him and shook his hand. I have to say, he is the NICEST person I have met on this cast and crew so far. Nolan is great, but Roberts was just so damn energetic and kind about the whole thing, really going the extra mile. It was awesome and the photos came out great

(now if only I can post them

).
Anyway, after that I started to leave the set and then a storm of wrath fell upon Chicago so I had to book it back to my apartment.
Well, I am sorry I don't have the pics and video for you guys yet. But I am promise to get it up very soon, depending on if my comp cooperates. But when I do get them posted....I am sure you will love it!
