Actually, they do, kind of. Or we know [some] of them are capable of reproduction. Liege Maximo, the forefather of the Decepticons, could and
did reproduce, albeit more selectively than others. There were 13 original Transformers, and they gave rise to the entire "species". Although the details are far from fleshed out, Transformers do reproduce.
