So, she said the diamond blocks him...but diamond makes her vulnerable to him??? There's even a scene where it shows Xavier trying to read her, but the diamonds mentally block him from continuing...

Now I'm lost. Given her words, and the visuals when Xavier tried...it seems like the diamond is protecting her from him.
