No it’s not. The shield is financially valuable to WB/DC; they can license it out to manufacturers of bumper stickers and coffee mugs. But that’s small comfort for those who want to enjoy Superman stories. “Aspects” of Superman’s character are now (or soon will be) shared by WB and S&S. That’s the problem. There’s not much to cheer in just owning a logo.
