The ending of
Captain America left me with such a jumble of emotions. It was a rousing action film, but the raw loss Steve and Peggy experienced stayed with me afterwards. Even though I've known how this story would end ever since I first read about Cap's resurrection when I was five, those scenes still managed to break my heart. I ended up wiping away a tear or two as the credits rolled.
When Peggy opened the file with the picture of skinny Steve in it it was the teenage guys around me who said, "Aww!" I heard a lot of sniffling, too. Good thing it was dark in there....
