Not for me.

Even when the first season plots where ridiculous in concept, the writing was altogether more natural and that makes them more watchable to me. And even in the most renouned episodes, there were usually moments that shine.

Just accept that this is the direction they have taken.
Then, you can either decide this version isn't for you and stop watching. OR you can decide to enjoy it for what it is - an elseworlds tale.
