Yeah, a spruce up in the same way that Hulk's been spruced up - Improved design, improved CG animation, improved on-screen abilities.

I like it.

EDIT: Two designs more 'similiar' (not literal translations but closer than TIH A-Bomb, nonetheless) to the comicbook A-Bomb right here, using the previous movies design as a base but 'mutating' further:-
