Because, as Chewy said, Avengers didn't make 1.5 billion in July; they made it in May.
And because Joss' contract is up at the end of
June 2015. You want to release *his* movie a month later, when he's no longer contractually obligated to promote it....?

The FF reboot won't even be a threat to a freakin' Spider-Ham movie. It's a reboot of a failed franchise that nobody in the GA gave a crap about the first two times....what makes you think they're suddenly going to be interested in seeing Fox try to "get it right" this time....?
