I don't know what you did wrong on the digital soundtrack download but I didn't need a credit card to redeem it. Did you go to
http://www.avengersassembleoffer.com/ & type in your code? The most I had to do was type in the code, then my DOB, name & email address & that was it & then downloaded the soundtrack in the form of a zip file.
