Default Re: Jean Grey in The Wolverine

Unless...timelines are getting re-framed due to nebulous near-future events...and Logan walks down a busy street at the end of the movie and thinks he sees Jean in the crowd...but she disappears as quickly as she appeared. Roll credits. Played ambiguously, this ending is left to audience interpretation, and even if it never develops into anything else, it works as a sign that Wolverine's immortality will always haunt him...(see Mangold's comments?)

Mangold's clearly not commenting on recent rumors of Famke/Jean involvement...

...but he is...if you get my drift.

Similar to his earlier timeline hints...

Confirming Jean Grey is gone only cements for readers to expect her to remain gone...until she's not.

This should all be very familiar to you Bat-fans...

CS/SHH!: Well in the first film...(Bale sees the guy asking the question is wearing a Superman T-shirt.)

Bale: Are you doing that on purpose? You woke up this morning and went "right." (laughing)
