I hope that some of these characters will actually cameo in Avengers 2, just like we would see crewmembers from Star Trek DS9 or Voyager in the Next Gen movies. I liked how the movies and the series were connected, and I see it being the same here.

This is definitely the way I want this to go. I want characters and storylines to intermingle on a certain level, not so much that it causes a great deal of confusion, but enough to where it makes the universe feel very deep and expansive.
