Re: All Things Superman: An Open Discussion - - - - - - - - - - Part 19
to be honest, a Jon kent that would rather keep his adopted child save and a secret is something I find particularly poignant and intriguing. The mid western united states are mainly conservative after all lol.
It's bold and I rather liked that.
It wasn't let lana die, it was perhaps those random kids were meant to drown(just as they would have in the normal world), if clark were to hope for anything close to a normal and happy existence. But what's the matter, no one saw him anyways so all is well...then two days later...someone comes a knocking. No good deed goes unpunished. Seems very thematic with a Jonathan Kent character arc.
I don't believe it though.
"A man named Hal Jordan was recruited 35 years ago into the Lantern core. He hasn't returned to the relatively measured as primitive earth since. Upon his return from what could be considered hell, the weathered soldier and man out of time has short trimmed grey hair, scars, and a warning of a looming threat that motivated his return to his home planet. He's also surprised and weary to see a Kryptonian on Earth"
