Happy new year to all Batman and TDKR fans!

I spent part of my evening talking about TDKR to a film fan, and he loved it. I loved talking about the Talia twist since he didn't expect that at all, and I told him us fans could see it from miles away.

He especially loved the full circle approach, the brilliant Bane (he didn't know it was Hardy until somebody told him) and the huge amount of emotional resonance in it.

And I could nothing but agree with him, even though coming from a different point of view.
