No. Hank Pym is famous for his research into three things.
1. Pym particles
2. insect communication
3. Ultron
If Stark has anything to do with Ant-Man's origin, it should be this:
Pym becomes Ant-Man around the time his creation Ultron almost destroys humanity. He chooses "ants" because he feels small. He doesn't feel comfortable around the people whose lives he almost ruined. When he meets Stark and becomes an official member of The Avengers, Stark turns him onto the idea of reversing the Pym particles to become Giant. He encourages Pym just like he encouraged Banner.
