This for me, really.

Marvel's doing a fine job in introducing the core superheroes into their cinematic universe (the ones they have the rights to, anyway); but right now, the characters that are suffering are all the street-level types who aren't likely to make an Avengers roster or fight the cosmic baddies. We're all *hoping* that at least some of them will get exposure on the SHIELD TV show, but I'm still taking a wait-n-see on how that all works out.

So, really wishing and dreaming on my part: I'd hope for a smaller "Searchlight" sub-studio of Marvel that puts out smaller (30-50 million budget) films focusing on street level heroes --- characters who are big on live action and short on VFX and CGI. Luke Cage; Iron Fist; Daredevil; Elektra; Punisher; Cloak and Dagger; Mockingbird; Blade; Moon Knight; Shang-Chi; Daughters of the Dragon; Ghost Rider.
