We know she would have mourned him we don't need that explained to us.

But I don't think I'll have to worry about that one, as I doubt they would have re-cast Atwell if they were gonna do that. I know they could CG her face to look old but that never looks real enough. I predict the Peggy cameo will be WWII era.
