I don't think those concerns are founded.
The one thing Singer always did really well was handle an ensemble cast with a big, character driven narrative. That was the strongest point of Valykyrie, the only movie really to use that device since X-Men. The weakest parts of Valkyrie were in the story concept, not the execution.
