True, I entirely see what your point. I guess it's just wishful thinking, but that amount of characters should be reserved for a standalone film, not dividing the movie between two timelines.
As for Grammar's beast, however, though he is my favorite of the two versions, his character in particular should have been a casualty prior to the film. He was in DC, it would make the most sense for him to be the first of the many mutants worldwide to go.
