The only idea of TAS-M being "grounded" was felt with Spidey's costume, but that's thrown out of the window with the sequel's new suit anyways, so any talk of "grounded"-ness should just be shrugged off.

And a smurf shooting electricity, lol...poor Foxx. He goes from being in a great film to a film where he's now a smurf that shoots electricity.
