I hope they've got this right I really do. Between TASM last year and Iron Man 3 this year, i'm just tired of the villain plot being the one thing that lets the movie down.
I think Michael Shannon can bring it. Pretty inspired casting by Snyder to be honest.
IM3 Spoilers. Ben Kingsleys Mandarin was kinda designed to be this big fakeout though. It was pretty clever considering all the marketing of the film centering on building him up. Unless you're referring to Guy Pearce's Killian, in which case yeah, a bit weak. I'm still laughing at when he breathed fire like a dragon though. A friend and I have been getting kicks out've that for a few days.
