I'd like to see Singer direct this. His Trek film will be different though. Slower paced and more cerebral, that's for sure. In terms of action, Singer did well with X2.
I remember awhile back, Singer being rumored to be discussing bringing Trek back to TV with Bryan Fuller (great writer in general, former Trek writer and huge Trekkie). That's probably something I'd be more interested in seeing, but as Trek is probably staying away from TV for awhile, I guess that's just a pipedream.
