If making Lex black somehow profoundly changes who the character is, and what his motivations are, and if a Blonde Superman (which I think half decent costume designers could pretty easily make work, though blonde kinda falls into the "change for change's sake category, considering that hair dye exists) suddenly turns him into a completely different character, than I'd like to hear an actual reason.
