Episode I is, to me, probably the best of the prequels. It's an insane thing to say since it's not a good movie at all. But it feels the most like a Star Wars movie with it's use of real sets and creatures, not to mention the fact that it was shot on film. The score is also the strongest here, though it's exceptional in each of them and is the only consistently good thing in the trilogy.
And on the pedestal these words appear:
