I don't think they'll go younger than Cavill, personally, but there are some relatively non-mainstream actors out there who would fit the bill of being older than Cavill (not significantly older, but still older, say between 4 and 6 years older) but not especially well-known:
Gael Garcia Bernal
Robbie Jones III
You've also got actors whose names people would recognize but who aren't 'A-listers' and won't upstage Cavill, people like Sam Witwer and Milo Ventimiglia.
If they do go younger than Cavill, you've got some good actors who fit the bill such as Sinqua Walls and the now-unemployed Colin Donnell.
Also, just because Batman is 'new to the scene' doesn't mean he has to be younger than or even the same age as Clark.
