I've never seen Anthony Hopkins deepen his voice for a character, guess he's not a great actor, huh? No. It doesn't work like that.
I'm sure Gosling can make his voice "a bit" deeper, but he'd need to make it MUCH deeper in order to pull off Batman's deep authoritative voice.
