Sometimes I listen to the MOS soundtrack and I could just see the ideal Superman movie playing out in my head, and it's just so radically different and BETTER than what we actually got. There's just this great sense of hope in Zimmer's score that was MISSING from the actual movie.
And to lesser degree, I feel the same way about his Batman score. When I listen his Batman score... a much different version of the character plays out in my head than the one we actually saw in Nolan's movies for some reason.
What I get from Zimmer is scale, scope and a feel of epic.
This is why I am glad he is penning Spider-Man, sure, Spidey is the 'friendly neighbourhood' Spider-Man but I still want the score to feel epic.
BvS is epic, a meeting of titans and needs a score to reflect that.
