I am very curious to see how Lois knowing the secret early will affect future stories. It's a good thing in my mind. There's plenty of ground to build on so she can be involved in more ways than just the damsel in distress.
I do like that MOS showed she is a really good investigative reporter who takes no crap. She was bold and fearless in most respects, so I look forward to seeing more of that.
Well the story arc has been dropped now for some reason but the first six issues of Superman's self titled book had hints dropping that Lois knew Clark was Superman. and Superman #24 has expanded on that but don't expect it to stick as Parasite is about to drain her psionic powers that she was given in Superman Annual #2.
