Liking a film is technically not the same thing as thinking it was good, seems like many forget that, i like plenty of films that i know aren't good, that comes from my enjoyment, not the evaluation of how the film really is. Are you saying that The Room isn't objectivelly bad? Tastes can be subjective, but most films, expecially mainstream blockbusters, can be easily evaluated from multiple criteria. You can make a case for old classic films that are incredibly racist, like Birth of a Nation, or have a more subjective way of viewing most experimental films.
