You're telling your "brother" that you've chosen to be anti-human and you know he's just the opposite and this decision will divide you completely--I would think you'd have to feel very determined to say that to his face. Not just "I guess I'm against humanity now," which is how it felt.
Well she already chose that path a decade ago, and she's already been divided from Charles for years and years, so it's not like she's just informing him now.
Plus, with Raven's mission at hand, this reminder of Charles and her more innocent years and basically anything that might make her waiver is probably the last thing she wants.
