Ysuo Furuhata's Poppoya. Nice little story about a railway stationmaster of a dying end-of-the-line village who is offered a cushy hotel job but cannot take it because his memories of his dead wife and daughter tie him to the railroad. Then he meets a young girl who reminds him of his daughter and she helps him to push on.
