I was wondering what everyone thought of the New X-Factor comics...I have issue 1-3 and I`m in love with the story and the artwork...I`d like to know what everyone else thinks of this comic.....Layla Miller is a crazy character..

I am really loving this comic. It has a dark humor that is hard to define.

It's a great book. I love what the writer has done with Girl From Poltergeist. She went from a silly plot point used to progress the storyline in a crossover, to a relevant plot point used to actually engage the audience in the story.

Very good series. And very atypical for an X-Men book.

Sook's work in X-Factor is some of my favorite art work I've seen in an X-title in recent years. His, and Larroca's w/o an inker during X-Treme.

It was the 32nd most seller last month, which actually is rather good, with over 48,000 issues sold.

I have to admit I really wasn't all that enthusiastic about the series when it was announced... but I was SOOOOOO wrong. I love it. Love. It. The last issue when M tells Layla "I have to go out. Jamie wants you to deal with the corpse on the floor"... classic! I can't wait until Guido and Rahne get a little more face time.

I really think they should add Bishop to this title though. I think it would make for some good conflict... he's a natural leader but this is Jamie's team... and it would be fun to see straight-laced Bishop interact with this more quip-happy team.

what did u guys think of the latest issue?

i thought it was a little 'eh' compared to the rest of the series so far. i was hoping for more SI info and less crazy guy talking lol

it was nice to see rictor come to the rescue without his powers

Yeah, I was a bit underwhelmed. Not as much of the usual humor, and very little plot development. Basically seemed like a filler issue.

Wink Re: X-Factor (3rd series)

my only complaint about issue #5 its not long enough because they only show 2 members of X-Factor....it was kinda cool seeing a powerless Rictor saving Siryn

i thought it was an interesting issue.. clearly the weakest of the series so far though. the doctor i found quite a fascinating character.. were not even sure he was ever really a mutant or not. Its a shame he died really.
i think it clearly felt like a filler issue, but i guess it was important to show that theyre prioritising MDay in their investigations.

My biggest problem with the issue was that, though the series is X-Factor.. it is very much still Jamies book and was a shame we didnt see him.
