good songs to um... make love to?
my girlfriend's coming back from a long trip, and i'm trying to plan a special night at home for the two of us... i want to put together a nice cd or two with some songs that we can dance to, have dinner to, then eventually sleep together to, without having to mess around with changing cds, or remotes, or playlists, etc...
any suggestions? not the 'white barry', either, please? i was thinking like, more contemporary-ish stuff... kind of like that 'stereophonics' song 'maybe tomorrow'... i don't know what that song is about, but i like the way it sounds. thanks in advance.

If you're feeling dirty, then Closer by NIN. It actually has sort of a...raw, sensual, primal sexual feel. It's more for raunchy sex than lovemaking, though.
If you want a more sophisticated atmosphere, and I know it's cliche...go with Barry White or Isaac Hayes. A lot of women love them, their songs are perfect for lovemaking, and, let's just face it, they have extremely sexy voices. EDIT: Just noticed you don't want that kind of stuff ("White Barry"). Still, I guess you could go with something mushy and borderlined gay like BSB or N'Sync.  The reasoning behind any of the music you choose should be its effect on her. Get something that either makes her horny (BW and Isaac Hayes can work for that) or something that gets her emotions stirring. Anymore, contemporary crap isn't too great at that. Can be male or female artists, too. For some reason many women are more open to another female's sexuality than males are to other males' sexuality (e.g., most men aren't turned on by BW or Isaac Hayes...but women may be more apt to be turned on by female artists). Tough question; the good news is, your choices aren't limited. It's just that you'll have to choose for yourself. Sorry.
