So, as the big X-nerd I am, I decides to tell the story of Bryan Singer becuse he has taken the next step for superherofilms from being a nobrainer to movies with emotions. I know that there have been other persons like him before but I wanted yo wrie about him. So what are your thoughts ? What are youre thoughts about this man and how and why did he change the superhero genre. AND please help me with draw parallels between things in (for example) human psychology. Thanks all you überpeople out there

hmm, i think he identified with the X-men due to him being a gay jewish man; like the X-Men he belongs to a minority group,in his case more than one. Minorities always suffer from prejudice and stereotypical viewpoints so by grounding the x-men into a realistic world instead of just making an OTT comic book movie, he could make a real stand for the rights of minorities.
Thats just one small point which can really be expanded upon, ecpecially with some psychological theories about minority groups and attitudes towards them. Hraba and Grant's study into racial preference may be of some use to you as well
