What's your ringtone on your cell phone? How often do you change it?

Personally, I only change my ringtone if I think of something really, really good. I usually keep the same one for 6 months or so until it illicits a Pavlovian response.

Right now it's set to Europe - The Final Countdown.

it's not a song it's one of the new official nokia ones...

it's called 'waiting'

if i could change it, i would use the first few beats from toni braxton's 'the heat' song off her album released back in like 98

On my first cell phone I bought a year ago I had pink floyd song bytes (mp3's), "the final countdown", the rocky theme, the superman theme, the Real Ghostbusters theme...then I bought a blackberry and that phone has EVERYTHING but the ability to play .mp3 ringtones or take pictures.

So now im looking to get the super mario theme .mid as a ringtone...

Totally. After a marathon of watching the show, it kinda gets stuck in your head. Plus, whenever my phone rings I get the mental image of GOB with the knife in his teeth, and that's always good for a laugh.

Normally, when someone's phone goes off in the cinema it's really annoying. But when I went to see Ghost Rider it was actually a pleasent surprise to hear " If ya smeeelllllll, what The Rock is cookin' ". Reminded me of the good old days and was actually my favourtie part of the movie.

I refuse to pay for the priviledge of listening to my phone ring differently. So I have the standard "free" ring tones that come with the phone. Mine has been set to "Clubbin'" for ages (over a year).

I have different ringtones for different people.

I'm able to use a program to make my own ringtones based on mp3s.

Girlfriend: Ewok Song from Jedi
Family: Duel of the Fates
Best Friend: Ball and Chain from Social Distortion
Girlfriend's Sister: Little Sister from Elvis

I try and give everyone a separate ring because it allows me to screen my calls.

sometimes i do that. really the cool important people have cool ringtones and everyone else has regular. so i can ignore the regular one but get excited for the cool ones.

So at least I can enjoy the ringtone. I also have to give everyone their own pic too that shows up so I can see who it is.
