Superman VS Count Dracula?

This is a fight I have always wanted to see, because I think it would be Awsome episcally if they the Dragula like he is in myths and legends not in the movies were they weaken him. The most powerful of all evil and creatures, The Son of Satan fighting a war with the Man of Steel.

So who do you think would win this, while it is turn that Superman is a solar powered Battery Dracula can't be killed by sunlight even though he is a vampire because he has become much to powerful, he's powers are only weakened in daylight. But I want to know who would win this fight since magic and demonds can hurt and kill Superman, and Dragula possess more Black Magic than any other creature know to man other than Satan himself, not to mention Dragula list of powers and ablititys far out number supermans. So who do you think would win, I haven't read enough vampire or superman stories to determan who would win this fight.

Is it even possiable for superman to beat Dragula himself in a head to head fight. Also Dragula is a tricky dirt bag. personal I don't think any villian has got has much chance has him of beating superman, (other than Doomsday and Imperiex of course) So who would win based on actully dragula myths not the stupid movies, comics and cartoons that weaken the count. I don't know if there has ever been a story were the Dragula and Superman have faced off, Has there?

Dracula (1992) starring Gary Oldman and Winona Ryder didn't weaken Dracula at all. His powers and abilities were consistent with the novel.

He can distort the laws of physics to crawl on walls as if they were floors.

Superhuman strength and endurance.

His biological age shifts around depending on the amount of nourishment he has at the time.

He can turn into mist or vapor.

He can transform into a giant bat, or a pile of rats.

He also seems to be a werewolf on top of it all.

Also, to give a correction. Dracula certainly CAN be killed by direct sunlight. In fact in the original Dracula story (Bram Stoker's) that is exactly how he was killed.

It's only later modifications that come up with excuses and say that it won't kill him.

Dracula didn't die by sunlight. It was the wounds inflicted during the showdown with Van Helsing, Jonathan etc. that did it. They made it a point to track him down before nightfall, after which he would be at his most powerful.

I just looked it up and you are right. Don't know how I mixed that up, though, in my defense, it was about 10 years ago that I read it.

Anyway. If Superman and Dracula faced off, Dracula would definitely be the underdog. Superman would win pretty quickly.

Agreed. I don't see Dracula being much of a threat to Supes. Fight over in approximately 10 seconds. Supes grabs Drac by the back of his neck, flies off at superspeed into the Sun, and ....bada bing. Bye Bye Dracs.

Well, I think Supes would stomp Dracula pretty easily. But I don't know about this Dragula guy. Is this the Rob Zombie song come to life? If so, what are the parameters of his abilities?

In the Adventures of Superboy he had a few rounds with (I think) Draculas son.

(The only definite way to kill him is by decapitating him followed by impalement through the heart, although it is also suggested that shooting him with a sacred bullet would suffice.) this is the only way to stop Dracula. and even if superman ripped off his head, then won't old Dracula turn to mist, or evapor makeing superman think he had one, and if he bits superman would he gets Superman's powers, then because the sun light won't kill him but weakin him, if he got Superman's blood wouldn't it make it so sun light doesn't make him weak anymore but allows him to be has powerful has he is at night. I see Superman in some big trouble, also how do you hit mist or vapor. also the count can has powerful hypnotic and mind control abilities witch i have tryed to tell people before superman screw agaist an attack like these he has nothing to block psyic or Hynotic attacks more so if there magical. Do you think Superman can overcome all these powers together? and we must remember there all magical.

You have to think about the fact that no matter how you kill Dracula he keeps coming back, except with the menitoned methods above. and Dracula is one of the few villians who can actully make superman bleed even though he isn't has strong has superman.

anyway I decied to just post some more info with my look on it, does this change things. I still think it would make for a cool fight, and these are the things that make me lean a little torwards the count winning. It's funny this is pretty much a battle of Day vs Night.

Since this is a cornerstone for your argument, let me clarify Superman vs "Magic".

Superman is not vulnerable to the mere presence of magic enchantments; i.e. a sword magically enchanted to slay dragons will have no more effect on Superman than any non-enchanted sword.

So merely stating that Dracula's abilities are magic in nature does not mean they will be effective against Superman. Can Dracula's fangs pierce anything? Is his will effective against all comers, etc. Don't forget that Superman's will is also formidable.

Yeah, it has potential to be an interesting battle, but for now I'm still going with Superman for the win. CD can do stuff, but he's pretty limited. Like the shape shifting stuff can only be done at certain times of day and I would take transforming to mist as falling in to that category. Even with his abilities, I don't think it would be that difficult for Superman to decapitate him then impale him through the heart.

It does make me wonder what a good writer could come up with though.
