This is Transformers, it's always been a toy commercial. The only reason this movie exists is for Hasbro to sell toys. 90% of the merchandise for this movie will be a toy of some description. Get used to it.

Also Human alliance Sideswipe with sgt. Epps and Skids with Mikaela.

Yep. Transformers, GI-Joe, My little Pony, Masters of the Universe, Brave Starr were all created by toys companies. Any and all tie-in fiction was funded by said toy companies to help market them.

1. Plastic budget*
2. Why is Epps with Sideswipe?
3. There is no guarentee that Ironhide/Lennox exists
4. Con dammit! Barricade or Sideways with a hologram driver
5. The deluxe bikes are probably the right scale to hold the HA figures.

*Fan term I've heard used to denote that toys have a set budget of plastic (between such and such grams) they can use for certain price point and packaging foot print.

Very attractive. I think ILM has done a great job with the Autobots interms of their designs; their Decepicons are a bit more inconsistent (Like the Tank 'Brawl' in the first film)

Sideswipe looks damn good. i knew Bay would try to keep identifiable parts of the Corvette in robot mode.
nice touch with the wheel feet and engine back. i expect him to be a BADass
