I learned about this last week. I'm not familiar with the sport, but my condolences to her family and friends. She dared where most don't go.

That certainly is a sad irony. It's also just as snowboarding is becoming a popular Olympic event. She probably was a treat to watch in action.
Lot of olympians passing this year.
